'How To' Topics:

There are over 100 easy-to-find How To topics. Each one walks you through the task at hand in plain English and in a clear, numbered, step-by-step process.

Tutorials:

For each of the advanced features, you will also find a carefully written tutorial that guides you through a series of excercizes enabling you to use the more powerful features of Daylight Explorer™.

Window Help:

Every window in Daylight Explorer™ has a Help button. When you click it you see the help topic for that window including a picture with numbered annotations telling you how everything works.

Menu Help:

Our unique Menu Help system is designed to help you quickly identify what each menu does. When you hold your mouse pointer over the Menu Help menu, a context menu will come up that exactly duplicates the menu you are currently looking at. The only visual difference is that all of the icons are grey instead of colored. In the accompanying illustration, the user wants to know exactly what the Remove menu does before he clicks it, so he is clicking the gray Remove help menu on the right.

Menu Help (continued):

After the user clicks the Remove help menu, the help topic comes up giving him or her all the information needed to use that menu correctly.

Dynamic How To Help:

When you hold your mouse pointer over the How To Dynamic Help menu, a series of How To topics that are relevant to the task you are currently working on will come up.

Internet Resources:

The Daylight Research website offers a comprehensive supplement to the help system that ships with Daylight Explorer™ including a continually updated knowledge base as well as community forums and free e-mail support.
