Scheduling Items:

Daylight Explorer™ can track your church's activities, meetings, services and visits. It also tracks the activities, meetings and class sessions of your sunday school classes. And it tracks the meetings and activities of your church groups.




Listing Your Event Attendees:

You can list the people who are included in your scheduled events by simply dragging their records to the appropriate People node and dropping them in. There is no typing. Daylight Explorer™ also gives you the flexibility to list families as activity participants.




Working with People:

When you want to work with the people who are included in your scheduled event, you have a wide array of resources including automated e-mail messaging, form letters, name tags and address labels as well as electronic address and phone books. All of this functionality is available with just a few mouse clicks and no typing. The accompanying illustration shows the Name Tags menu.




Taking Attendance:

The Attendance dialog makes it easy to take attendance for your services and sunday school class sessions. Church service attendees can be marked as present and as having received communion. The Attendance dialog comes with a rich assortment of menus including the option to mark all people as present and/or as having taken communion.




Attendance Rosters:

With a mouse click you can produce a professional-looking attendance roster for your church services and sunday school class sessions. You can also choose the updated roster which will also show attendance history for the time period you specify. You have the option of including the phone number of each person in your attendance roster.




Editing Your Events:

Recording and editing your scheduled events is straightforward: just fill in the fields and click the OK button. There are fields for you to specify the cost, sign-up deadline and participant limit for activities.




File Management:

When you keep the minutes of your meeting in a digital file, there is a field for recording it's disk location on your computer. You can also specify the disk location of your service bulletins as well as video files in case you record your services for later playback or display over the internet.




Calendar View:

By clicking the Show Schedule menu, you can display your scheduling events together in a graphical calendar view. The different types of scheduling events are color-coded for easy identification. You can create, edit and delete scheduling events in the calendar view.
