Daylight Research : Database Toolkit Features

Daylight Explorer™ ships with a database toolkit that enables you to keep your database running smoothly. The accompanying illustration shows the General page of the Database Tools dialog.

The Manual Backup page lets you backup your database.

Just like the file system on your computer, all databases will become fragmented under normal use. The Analyze Fragmentation page lets you see, in easy-to-understand terms, how fragmented your database is. You can then defragment it using the built-in Defragmenter.

The Restore page simplifies the task of restoring your database from one of your backups.
